About HMAS Castlemaine

Visit heritage-registered HMAS Castlemaine and and see how crews
lived and worked during wartime, witness the original engines turning over, and
experience Australian maritime history in our Museum. HMAS Castlemaine is owned,
preserved and operated by the Maritime Trust of Australia, a totally
volunteer-run organisation, and has been restored and maintained by the
volunteers since 1974.
The ship is afloat at Gem Pier in Williamstown, Victoria, near cafes,
playgrounds and galleries. See Location Map.
